England Boxing has a proud history dating back to 1880, making it one of the oldest sports governing bodies in the world.

As the National Governing Body, we oversee more than 1000 affiliated clubs and over 24,000 members across the country. Our goal is to deliver boxing in a safe, controlled environment, working to promote boxing clubs as hub of local communities.

England Boxing continues to strive for excellence across the board, from grass roots provision right up to national talent teams, using boxing as a means to promote staying fit and active at all levels.

Our new Boxing Activator Course provides opportunities for grass roots providers to deliver safe, non-contact, competitive sessions and games to people of all ages, abilities and in a variety of settings.

Box Tag develops movement, reactions, and tactical thinking in a timed game in pairs or in a team. Using the Box Tag bibs, players will aim to retrieve a tabard from their opponent’s bib and secure it on their own. The player with the most tabards at the end of the round, wins.
